REQUIREMENTS

The following items are to accompany the application form:

1. Evidence of Ghanaian Nationality (i.e. Birth Certificate/Passport).
2. Evidence of Parents Nationality (Passport, Voters ID Card, Birth Certificate).
3. For persons who have renounced their Ghanaian citizenship provide evidence of parents nationality.
4. Six (6) passport sized photographs.
5. A fee of R1100.00 is charged for this application

VALIDITY PERIOD – ONLINE PAYMENTS PASSPORTS

Online payments made for passport applications are valid for Six (6) months from the date of payment. Proof of payment must subsequently be presented at the High Commission within the six (6) month period, in the year of application, for the issuance of a receipt to support a passport application.

By regulations, every online application expires after a period of six (6) months. Applicants who, therefore, fail to follow the aforementioned procedure, forfeit the amount paid and will be required to re-submit payment.
