Under the direction of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ghana, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the High Commissioner of Ghana to South Africa, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, accompanied Mr Emmanuel Asamoah, a Ghanaian who in a viral video experienced xenophobic attacks while in South Africa, to Accra.
Upon their arrival in Accra, they were met at the Accra International Airport by representatives of the Ministry and subsequently met with Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa to discuss matters related to re-integrating Mr Emmanuel Asamoah into the Ghanaian system. Mr Asamoah was full of praise for the Minister’s swift intervention. He expressed appreciation to the Honourable Minister and the Government of Ghana for the kind support towards bringing him back to his homeland.
