In a gesture of solidarity with the Government and People of the Republic of Kenya, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, signed a Book of Condolence opened at the High Commission of the Republic of Kenya in Pretoria in honour of the Late Raila Odinga, former Prime Minister of Kenya and Pan Africanist.

In his tribute, High Commissioner Quashie recognised Raila Odinga as one of Kenya’s most influential and enduring leaders, indicating that his lifelong commitment to African Unity, Justice, and Self-Determination has left an indelible mark. This, according to High Commissioner Quashie earned the late Raila Odinga, deep admiration across the continent and beyond.
