His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, High Commissioner of Ghana to South Africa, engaged with the Ghanaian Community in South Africa through GHASA Radio and TV Station on the 5th of November, 2025. During the engagement, he informed the Ghanaian Community in South Africa of his assumption of duty as Head of Mission, following the presentation of his letters of credence to the Acting Chief of State Protocol at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation (DIRCO) on 20th October,2025
The High Commissioner used the medium to share his vision with the community and outlined his expectations for its members during his tenure and beyond. He emphasised the importance of being law-abiding residents and conducting themselves as exemplary citizens, thereby enhancing Ghana’s image in South Africa.
Addressing the critical issue of children’s education, High Commissioner Quashie encouraged parents to serve as role models and inspire their children to prioritise their academic pursuits. He underscored that fostering a strong educational foundation was essential for propelling Ghana towards its next phase of development.
