Delegation from Sedglo Group of Companies meets High Commissioner Quashie to Explore Business   Opportunities   in  Ghana

A sixteen-member delegation of Ghanaian Business Owners in South Africa, led by Mr. Emmanuel Semeglo, General Manager of Sedglo Group of Companies, paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the High Commissioner on his well-deserved appointment and to discuss the activities of the Sedglo Group, which includes training in hairdressing, makeup, and nail artistry, as well as supporting the establishment of its trainees within the industry.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed a keen interest in exploring opportunities in the Ghanaian market. In response, the High Commissioner facilitated a meeting with the Mission’s Trade Attaché and assured them of a favourable business environment under the current administration. Highlighting the conducive business climate in Ghana, High Commissioner Quashie shared recent economic indicators related to inflation, interest rates, and the stability of the cedi, reinforcing Ghana’s status as an attractive investment destination. He also encouraged the delegation to participate in an upcoming Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) webinar, scheduled to take place virtually on November 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM SAST, to further familiarize themselves with developments in Ghana. The meeting ended with a photo opportunity with the High Commissioner.
