At the invitation of the Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire and Dean of the West Africa Group of Ambassadors, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, the High Commissioner of Ghana, participated in a meeting of the Group on 19 November 2025, at the Embassy of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire in Pretoria at 11:30 am.

In his remarks, the Dean extended a warm welcome to High Commissioner Quashie and the Ambassador of Liberia, acknowledging their presence within the group. He articulated the meeting’s objectives, highlighting the Group’s commitment to advancing the interests of West African countries in South Africa, among other priorities. The meeting reinforced the collective efforts of the West Africa Group in fostering collaboration and mutual support among member states.
