Under the auspices of the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, High Commissioner Quashie graciously accepted an invitation to attend the opening ceremony of the 24th Regional Seminar on the Implementation of International Humanitarian Law in Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Island States on 2nd December 2025.

During the Seminar, he provided insights into Ghana’s leadership and contributions within the workstream focused on Information, Communication, and Technology, as well as the significance of the Initiative’s efforts to mobilise States in reaffirming their commitment to International Humanitarian Law. Additionally, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie participated in a media interview, where he elaborated on various initiatives undertaken by Ghana in support of this important endeavour.
