In a diplomatic exchange, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, the High Commissioner of Ghana to South Africa, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Andre Nyapayeke, the Ambassador of the Central African Republic and Dean of the African Group of Ambassadors.
The visit served as a formal introduction following High Commissioner Quashie’s assumption of his new role.
During the meeting, Ambassador Nyapayeke expressed appreciation for the High Commissioner’s visit and commended Ghana’s democratic credentials and her notable achievements in good governance.
Additionally, the Dean highlighted the frequent changes in Ghana’s diplomatic representation and expressed the hope that High Commissioner Quashie’s tenure will be marked by significant developments that will benefit the African Group through Ghana’s extensive experience.
On his part, High Commissioner Quashie expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the warm welcome extended to him and reaffirmed his commitment to collaborating with Ambassador Nyapayeke and other members of the Group to further their collective interests.
