On 22nd April, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Togo paid a friendly visit to his dear brother and friend, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, High Commissioner of the Republic of Ghana to South Africa.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange views on matters of mutual interest and to serve as a reciprocal visit to the Ghana High Commissioner. Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening cooperation and promoting initiatives that benefit the two neighbouring countries, in the spirit of regional solidarity and enduring fraternity.
It may be recalled that, shortly after he arrived in South Africa, High Commissioner Quashie paid courtesy calls on Heads of Mission of neighbouring countries of Ghana to announce his assumption of duty.
