On 22nd April, 2026, the Norwegian Ambassador to South Africa, His Excellency Anne Beathe Kristiansen, paid a courtesy call on the High Commissioner of Ghana to South Africa, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, a few weeks after both officials presented their Letters of Credence to His Excellency Cyril Ramaphosa, President of South Africa, at the Presidential Guest House in Pretoria.
During the meeting, the officials discussed matters of mutual interest, with a particular focus on identifying opportunities for cooperation between the two countries through multilateral frameworks in furtherance of their shared objectives. High Commissioner Quashie expressed his appreciation for the Ambassador’s courtesy call and reaffirmed his commitment to continued collaborative engagement.
