Courtesy Call on Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa by Executives of the New Patriotic Party(NPP) in South Africa

A six-member delegation of Executives from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Benjamin Quashie at the High Commission in Pretoria on 29th October, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the High Commissioner on his recent appointment to the high office and to discuss pertinent matters of interest to the Ghanaian Community.

During the meeting, the delegation expressed its appreciation for the High Commissioner’s commitment to maintaining an inclusive office that addresses the concerns of all Ghanaians, regardless of political affiliation. They commended this approach as a model worthy of emulation by all political parties.

In response, High Commissioner Quashie acknowledged the importance of diverse political perspectives in strengthening Ghana’s democracy. He shared some of the challenges faced by members of the Ghanaian Community and encouraged the executives, as respected elders, to provide suggestions that would enhance the welfare of all Ghanaians.

As the High Commissioner and representative of His Excellency, the President of the Republic, he reaffirmed his dedication to serving the entire Ghanaian Community. He urged the executives to collaborate closely with the Mission to help realise Ghana’s aspirations.

The meeting ended with a photo opportunity, marking a moment of unity and shared purpose.
