A six-member delegation of distinguished ladies from the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS), led by DSI Dorcas Maame Dufie Osei-Boateng, arrived in South Africa on 8th November, 2025. They are participating in the 2025 International Association of Women Police Conference for Women in Law Enforcement (Africa Edition), scheduled to take place in Krugersdorp from 8th to 14th November, 2025.
As part of their itinerary, the delegation paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s High Commissioner to South Africa, His Excellency Benjamin Anani Quashie, on 10th November, 2025. During this meeting, they formally informed him of their arrival and shared details about their planned activities with Pretoria Mission.
The High Commissioner, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the delegation’s visit and encouraged the officials to embrace the opportunity to learn from the continent’s best practices. He emphasised the importance of acquiring knowledge and skills at the conference for the benefit of the Ghana Immigration Service.
