At the invitation of the Ghana High Commission in Pretoria, members of the Ghanaian Business Owners Association in South Africa convened in the Mission’s Conference Room on 29th January 2026. The purpose of the meeting was to engage in discussions to review the text of a constitution drafted by the Group to regulate the conduct of its members.

In his remarks, High Commissioner Benjamin Anani Quashie emphasised the importance of the Group’s activities and encouraged its members to approach them with a serious commitment to maximise benefits. He highlighted the necessity of carefully reviewing the draft text, explaining that upon its adoption, the constitution will serve as a binding document to govern the conduct of all members. Laying emphasis on the constitution as a foundational framework, the High Commissioner explained that the document was necessary to enhance collaboration and ensure the integrity of the association’s operations.
