A delegation of seventeen members, led by Professor Samuel Kwaku Bonsu, the Rector of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), participated in the second module of the Economic Governance School Programme. This session was jointly organised by the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, the National School of Governance (NSG), and the Kenya School of Governance (KSG). The event took place from 11^th to 15^th August, 2025, in Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Ghanaian delegation comprised representatives from various institutions, including the Office of the Head of the Civil Service, GIMPA, Electricity Company of Ghana Ltd (ECG), the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC), the Local Government Service, and the Ministry of Education. The programme covered a range of important topics, including utilising data and evidence to inform economic policy decisions, innovating public-private partnerships for infrastructure financing and developing trade corridors in areas such as road transport, aviation, and ports. Discussions also included the future of the mining industry, with a focus on critical minerals. Participants from Kenya and South Africa were also present at the event.

On the last day of the programme, the Ghanaian delegation paid a courtesy call on the Pretoria Mission and members of the delegation availed themselves of the opportunity to sign the book of condolence opened in observance of the eight Ghanaian public servants who lost their lives in the tragic 6^th August, 2025 helicopter crash.
